of breeze
the hiss symphony
traffic breathes
chorus of ancestors
chorus of ghosts
alive in spirit bolts
recorded as gifts

 

Nick Ferrio is driven and endearing. He uses what he observes, always as a watcher and a drifter, to create a vibrant folk sound. From the stormy shores of Lake Simcoe, his songs and voice are sweet and dark.
